The Barcelona Grand Prix weekend turned out to be particularly chaotic, with several incidents forcing Race Direction to stop the race twice.
Marco and Jorge had a challenging weekend, but despite the difficult results, they managed to strengthen their lead in the overall standings.
It was an especially successful weekend for the Aprilia RS 660, which once again confirmed its competitiveness across several championships. The bike secured its first-ever victory in the Sportbike World Championship, two wins in MotoAmerica, as well as another victory in the British BSB Sportbike Championship.
Aprilia also delivered a strong performance in off-road competition. In Olbia, during the second round of the Italian Motorally Championship, the Aprilia Tuareg Rally dominated the G-1000 class.
The weekend was rounded off by another impressive achievement – Jacopo Cerutti claimed the overall victory in the European Baja Championship riding an Aprilia Tuareg Rally in standard configuration. Importantly, the motorcycle used in the race is in the same configuration as the models available at Aprilia dealerships.
